PORTABLE BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT SYSTEMS
Portable biological waste water treatment systems that we manufacture in our plant in Gebze – Izmit are utilized in residential areas with low density population such as touristic facilities and summer resorts, in construction areas, in plants and manufacturing facilities where there is biological waste water. Portable treatment facilities manufactured as steel tanks in various sizes are easily transported.

Design parameters:
All treatment systems are designed taking into consideration hydraulic and organic pressures. Critical parameters such as daily average flow, peak flow, input and exit BOI values, and suspended particle values play an important role in defining the size and dimensions.

The criteria to help determining the waste water flow and its specifications are defined as above. The system’s dimensions and size could be redesigned according to the quality of different kinds of water.
General Units:
General units to be included in portable biological wastewater treatment facility are listed as such:
- Grid channel (optional)
- Lifting (balancing) tank
- Oil separation tank (optional)
- Portable treatment tank
- Aeration department
- Settling department
- Control room
- Sludge tank (optional)
- Chlorination tank
Grid Channel: The grid channel precedes the lifting (balancing) tank in the portable treatment system. If a basket grid is designed, then the grid channel does not need to be installed. Manufactured bar grids are placed to the grid channel with an inclination.
Lifting (balancing) Tank: Lifting (balancing) pool is designed to transfer the wastewater with stable pollution load and flow to the aeration pool. Wastewater feeding pump and pipeline, level floater, and grid are situated in the lifting pool. Optionally, feeding pump dole and grid channel could be included here in the project. Lifting pools are usually installed underground and as covered.
Oil Separation Tank: Oil separation tanks are included in the project for the facilities with a high rate of oil because of the restaurant, way station, etc. kitchens. Oil retainer works according to the principle of separation of oil from the carrier environment due to the fact that it has a different density. The oil, accumulated on the tank surface, forms a layer on the liquid and can easily be removed manually. The oil separation tank is made from ST 37 sheet metal and could be installed in the portable tank or mounted outside. The oil separation tank could also be concrete.
Portable Treatment Tank: All air and water pipelines necessary for the portable treatment system is located on the portable tank. There is a ventilation compartment inside the portable tank. The portable tank is made from 4-5 mm thick ST 37 sheet metal, iron angles and NPI material. Both the inside and the outside surfaces of the tank are coated with epoxy paint for the surface protection of the portable tank. If needed, the portable tank could be constructed from CTP. The portable treatment tank could be installed over ground or inside a concrete pool underground.
Sludge Tank: It is necessary for the precipitated sludge (microorganisms), settled to get a certain amount of microorganism concentration in the ventilation tank, to be transferred back to the ventilation tank. The extra sludge in the treatment system, however, needs to be removed. This extra amount of sludge could be collected in a separate tank made from concrete or steel if needed.
Chlorination Tank: Treated water coming from the settling tank is transferred to a pool, which is the chlorination (disinfecting) unit to be disinfected. 10% sodium hypochlorite could be used as disinfectant. Chlorination pool is made from concrete.
